Why there is no disable option for caching in my BIOS?
I get the blue screen and I have to disable BIOS shadow and caching as the error notification shows. Anyhow when opening the BIOS, there are no features in the menus for caching or shadowing. So what is the method to disable them?
I have got a Dell Inspiration N5010 notebook.

How to disable the bios caching and shadowing. I tried f2 and I could not find any system menu feature. So there was ni any functioning option for the BIOS. Is there any other method to disable these 2 errors? I have been using the Windows 7xp professional.

I am searching for a method to disable the BIOS caching and shadowing. But the BIOS has no System menu feature. There are no features to disable these functions. Is there any other way to do these all tasks? I have got a Dell Inspiration 1150 Widows 7.

Have you thought of resetting the BIOS into the default or the proposed values? If the issue is with BIOS settings this will be an answer. Minimally it is very doubtful that Dell is taking the system that does not function properly or in a default mode. And also it is good to recognize when the BSOD occurs. IS it a definite software or procedure that has become a reason? have you made any software or driver related to the changes at the beginning.

I will check the instructions that are coming with mobo before changing the settings. And also if there is S.M.A.R.T with you see about the HDD health.

You have to replace the CMOS battery with a new one or reset it. The problem can be not in the BIOS shadow and caching. But it can be any hardware issue. Check the updates in the BIOS and drivers.
