How to clear the cache in Excel on Windows

  • You can find the Excel cache location on your C drive, especially in the AppData folder.

  • One of the first ways to try to clear the cache in Excel is to clear the list of recent documents. Here are the steps to disable it:

Office 365 onedrive offline Cache size issues
